Arrangements and Transcriptions

As of late, I've been in the mood to arrange my own music. Some of them are little more than transcriptions, such as the Takemitsu/Beatles example below, but others took a little more effort: listening, transcribing, struggling to play the parts on a marimba, etc. The styles and genres have been all over the map, but I've been enjoying that aspect of it. After all, I rarely listen exclusively to "classical" music, so why should I perform nothing outside of that genre? It's also been a good excuse to finally learn audio and video editing. I've intended to do so for years, but now I have a concrete reason to do so (and the time to learn Final Cut Pro)

This page will be updated regularly as I create more, and it might eventually read like a blog of my random thoughts. Click on the title of each piece to read my blurb, or feel free stay on this page, listen, and keep my mind out of the process entirely.
